To Martyn,
As we head deeper into Fall, we have finished up the harvest. The plants are dry and have not yielded as much food as we hoped. We will rely on the kindness of Craven’s Hollow a little more this winter. Mordreen went well; the Firelight Tavern was filled with mirth. Thank you for the candies you were able to send; the children enjoyed the treat!
We had one patrol return this week. They brought sparse news, but I ferreted out of them that they revisited this “small mine.” They had suffered some injuries for sure, and their tales around the hearth at Mordreen seem a bit exaggerated, but stories on that night often are. Of note, they did bring back and sell a long chain made of tritium, receiving a hefty sum from the Storehouse for it. Could this be an indication of what is there in that old mine?
I am hoping to double up patrols and expeditions soon, I will send word as that happens and what we discover.
Hope all is well in Kowal,
Helfen
